DWP help is available for people with one of 70 health conditions. A total of £687 a month is paid out in PIPs to hundreds of thousands of people in the UK.

Those with one of the 70 neurological conditions below should contact the Department of Work and Pensions for support. A total of £171.75 is paid out every every seven days.

Personal Independence Payment (PIP) is a state benefit. It is distributed to help people if they have a long-term physical or mental health condition.

It also offers help to those with a disability and difficulty doing certain everyday tasks. The most recent statistics show that a total of 416,439 people are claiming PIP from the DWP for neurological conditions. Now our friends at Lancashire Live have compiled a full list of all the conditions for which people can claim help.

But do note. A claimant’s condition will be recorded during the DWP assessment. The categories and groupings below are based on DWP data.
