Police seized an Audi A3 on the M6 and its driver was arrested for an alleged immigration offence. It was the latest action from Warwickshire Police's Operational Patrol Unit (OPU).

The team stopped the Audi A3 on the M6 southbound near to Rugby. They discovered that the driver had no insurance and no driving licence.

The driver was also reportedly wanted by UK Border Force on suspicion of entering the country Illegally. The driver was arrested and they arranged for the vehicle to be seized.

It was one of several cars seized by the team during their recent shift as they also stopped a Kia Picanto just off the A46 near Stoneleigh. The driver was reported for driving with no insurance and the vehicle was recovered.
