Binley

Binley is a residential suburb in the southeast of Coventry. It began as a mining village, with the colliery closing in the 1960s and the Herald Way industrial estate built on the site. The area lies within the Coventry City Council ward of Binley & Willenhall. On the other side of the city boundary in Warwickshire is the village of Binley Woods, which was used as the location of Hyacinth Bucket’s home in BBC sitcom Keeping Up Appearances.
