A BMW X5 has been stolen by burglars after they raided a home in Nuneaton. They targeted a property off Thornhill Drive in Whitestone yesterday afternoon (Monday, September 25).

The residents returned home at just after 4.10pm to find that their house has been broken into. The thieves had stolen the keys to a blue BMW X5 off the driveway.

A Warwickshire Police spokesman confirmed that officers are investigating and want to hear from anyone who saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area or those who may have spotted the car. "Offenders appeared to have broken into the home earlier that day and made off with one of the homeowner’s cars," the police spokesman said.

"Officers attended the scene to gather evidence and enquiries are ongoing. Anyone with any information is asked to visit online citing incident 228 of 25 September.”

Details can also be passed on via the independent charity Crimestoppers, which is free to call from a landine and confidential, on 0800 555 111.
