The Royal Shakespeare Company will hope it's a case of As You Like It after appointing a new head chef to oversee its flagship eatery. Iain Miller will take the reins at the Rooftop Restaurant on the 3rd floor of the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon.

Diners appear to be in good hands given Iain's 30-year culinary career is littered with box office experience. "I am thrilled to be starting my new role as Head Chef at the RSC. Just like theatre, I think food is all about bringing people together and sharing an experience and I’m excited to bring joyful dining memories to the patrons of the RSC."

Iain is already working on a brand-new pre-theatre menu with further details to be announced. He began his career as a chef de partie at esteemed Birmingham restaurant Simpsons in Birmingham, which has held a Michelin star since 1999.

More recently he worked alongside chef director Adam Bennett at Michelin-starred The Cross in Kenilworth. Iain has also served as a head chef at Woodside Hotel and Conference Centre in Kenilworth and Simply Simpsons Brasserie.

The announcement of his arrival coincided with the reopening of the Rooftop Restaurant's cocktail bar where skilled mixologists shake or stir a variety of Martinis as well as 'an exciting range of long, short, classic and sparkling beverages.'
