McDonald's Monopoly top £100k prize bagged by Coventry resident

There is a range of prizes available, with £100k cash being the top one

The top £100,000 prize in McDonald's Monopoly game has been bagged by a Coventry resident, the restaurant has revealed. Two lucky players have taken home the top cash prize, one in Coventry and the other via the app.

This means there are still three more £100k prizes up for grabs. In three weeks, it said that 25,394,984 prizes have already been won via the Monopoly game.

This year has seen the return of the ‘Double Peel’ feature in the McDonald’s app, giving players more of a chance to win prizes. ‘Double peel’ allows players to peel another sticker in the app every time a sticker is won ‘in real life’.

McDonald's revealed that 454 of the 'money can’t buy' McDonald’s Gold Cards have been won in the 2023 game, leaving 1,546 Gold Cards still out there. Gold Cards entitle their owner to a free medium meal (main, side and drink) every week for a year.

It went on: "Eight lucky MONOPOLY game players will be jetting off to a destination of their choice, having won TUI Holidays worth £2K. Fortunately there is good news for those players who can still picture themselves enjoying a McDonald’s on a beach abroad, as there are 72 left to win.
