There were sad faces for some Coventry punters after a McDonald's shut due to a power cut. The branch in Walsgrave was closed for several hours on Thursday, June 8.
One customer was left disappointed after popping out for food at around 6pm. He said: "I went there around six o'clock and it was shut. There were cones on the road.
"I didn't know what the issue was - but it was a shame as I was starving!" McDonald's have released some information about the incident.
They confirmed the closure when approached by Coventry Live. A power cut was the reason given.
We don't know how long exactly it was shut for. However, we understand it was closed for a few hours.
Let's just hope people have no difficulties getting their Big Macs this evening.
