An award-winning festive four-day market will be making a triumphant return for 2023. Stratford Victorian Christmas Market will take over the historical market town in December.

Organisers say the popular event will be 'bigger and more magical than ever.' It will return to Stratford from Thursday, December 7 to Sunday, December 10.

Visitors can immerse themselves in the past as they wander through hundreds of stalls adorned with the finest festive treats and gifts. Traders will also create a nostalgic atmosphere that transports people back to the 1800s.

Guests can indulge their tastebuds with a wide array of festive food and drinks, which bring out the flavours of Christmas. A host of live entertainment will also be on offer with music, choirs and dance groups performing on Rother Street.

Jugglers will also be roaming the streets, creating a lively and engaging atmosphere for all! A funfair also promises a delightful experience for both the young and the young at heart and will be located at the bottom of Wood Street.

Stratford Victorian Christmas Market has received rave reviews and broken all footfall records since opening in 2017. It has increased in size and diversity since it first opened, and is filled with goodwill, reaching out to the community in the true spirit of Christmas.

It was also recognised as the 'Best Large Specialty Market' at the Great British Market Awards in 2022 and included in the '15 Best Christmas Markets in the UK' by The Sunday Times. Guests have described the four-day spectacular as 'excellent' adding that the event 'brings prosperity' to Stratford.
