Prior to becoming a premium country pub, bar and restaurant, it was a converted old mill with a working water wheel.
The pub sits on the western side of the River Avon where diners can enjoy the serene views alongside the landscape of Guys Cliffe. At the rear of the mill, there is a footbridge where you can cross to the other side which leads along the river towards Milverton where you can discover Guy's Cliffe House, a former civil parish and hamlet.
Guy's Cliffe House is the ruins of an 18th and 19th century house on the banks of the River Avon. If you're feeling brave, you can also embark on a Guy's Cliffe House Ghost Hunt in the reportedly haunted gothic mansion.

Our waiter Jack was super attentive and polite and very friendly with a lovely manner. He couldn't have been more helpful and went the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed."

A third said: "We had Sunday lunch in the main restaurant of this charming converted historic mill overlooking the river and the mill run. The welcome was warm, the service throughout attentive and the food excellent, with gargantuan portions of well-cooked Sunday roasts served with huge Yorkshires and a wide selection of root and plant vegetables."
