Heavy and thundery showers are set to hit Coventry and Warwickshire this weekend. That is according to the Met Office's latest local weather report.

It has forecast the blast of bad weather across the weekend and into the start of next week. But there is still the prediction that summery-like sunshine is on the horizon.

Warmer weather is set to make a comeback on or around Monday October 2, when temperatures will again be above average for the time of year. But we need to grab our brollies for the next few days.
