Walsgrave

Walsgrave is a residential suburb in northeast Coventry, known in full as Walsgrave-on-Sowe, with Sowe being the local river. Walsgrave is part of the city council’s Henley Ward. The area includes Walsgrave Triangle Retail Park and Cross Point Retail Park, along with University Hospital Coventry on the site of the old Walsgrave Hospital. Britain’s earliest recorded trial for witchcraft related to a 14th century murder in Walsgrave.
