There's nothing like watching a film on the big screen with a gargantuan popcorn and drink. But trips to the cinema can cost a pretty penny, especially if you're buying tickets for the whole family.

Thanks to the latest offer from Sky TV, your next cinema experience will be much, much more affordable.

Starting today (Monday, October 2), Sky TV is rewarding its customers with two free cinema tickets every month. Customers can redeem an exclusive code to book two free seats online or in person at any Vue cinema nationwide. The only catch is you'll need to be a Sky Cinema subscriber, The Mirror reports.

The provider has teamed up with popular cinema chain Vue to give away free seats every month, which all customers can redeem on the MySky app on iPhone or Android.

As you might expect, there are a few conditions with these freebie Vue tickets. First up, Sky customers won't be able to use the code to book free cinema tickets on Fridays and Saturdays, as the offer is only valid on showings scheduled on Sunday-Thursday each week.

Lastly, the free Vue code only works on standard 2D screenings, which usually cost around £4.99 per seat when booked online.

If you're an existing Sky Cinema customer, you just have to crack open the MySky app on your phone to get your cinema ticket codes.

Sky drops its Cinema + Netflix package to £1

On top of its blockbuster free cinema tickets at Vue, the provider has slashed the price of its Netflix and Sky Cinema package. Its latest deal now means customers will pay just £1 for the package in the first month, before it rises to its current £26 per monthly price.

If you already have Sky TV then you can add on Sky Cinema for an extra £12 per month, or get Netflix, Sky TV and Cinema for £37 a month on its £18 month contract deal.

Chief Consumer Officer at Sky UK & ROI, Sophia Ahmad said: "In a time when value is more important to households than ever, Sky Cinema's exclusive partnership with Vue will give film fans the chance to enjoy the experience of monthly trips to the cinema at no extra cost.

"That's alongside our unrivalled range of films that they can watch from the comfort of their homes—and access to Paramount+ too, all through one subscription."
