Mystery surrounds the opening date for the new JD Sports store at Coventry's Arena Park. Back in May, CoventryLive reported that the sports giant was taking over the old New Look units at the Arena Shopping Park.
A hunt for staff got under way with recruitment being advertised at the front of the former clothing store. At the time a spokesman for the national name confirmed that the store is set to open in the fourth quarter of this year, which would indicate a date between October and December
Since then a lot of activity has been going on behind the poster-emblazoned glass fronted windows. CoventryLive contacted the sports giant for an update on the store and when it set to open.
A spokesman said that there was no current update on the opening date for the Arena park store. They say they will issue information when there are 'updates to share'.
